A long with all the positive comments that are posted about Micellar water, I have also come across my fair share of negative comments (like with any product I guess) there is always going to be someone that doesn't get on with it or thinks it's a waste of money. When it comes to this sort of product in particular though, I see things like "it's just water in a bottle..." or "it doesn't do anything for my skin..." I really wanted to try it out for myself a see if I noticed a difference in my skin.
So, Micellar water would/should be used as the first step of your skin care routine because it removes make up, this then gives your cleanser a real chance to work into the bare skin without the barrier of the make up (it also stops your face cloths/towels getting covered in make up!). I was really pleasantly surprised to see that this removed my make up quite easily, even the stubborn They're Real Push Up Liner from Benefit came off without having to vigorously rub my eyes, which is always a winner.
As I have quite sensitive skin I really didn't know how I was going to react to this product but I found after a few days of using it that my skin started to feel a bit smoother, it also didn't give me any spots (which is what I worry about the most when trying new products). I have been using it for around 3 weeks now and I am really pleased to say that this product has worked well for me and for someone who has really temperamental skin this is actually a bit of a miracle. One week it can be perfect and then the next I will break out massively but all I have really seen since using the Micellar water is improvements...
I would say that Micellar Water is brilliant for pretty much all skin types, removing grime and dirt from your face in such a gentle but thorough way is a real selling point for this product. You can also start off small and buy a 125ml bottle for as little as £1.99 to see if you get on with it or not. For that price you really can't go wrong ladies!
