I hadn't really heard too much about Too Faced Cosmetics until the last six months, all I knew is that it was an American brand that pretty much all You Tubers love - like Desi Perkins and Nikkie's Tutorials and then I stumbled across it when I was in Debenhams, I tried a fair few bits on the back of my hand and I fell in love.
So, I was a lover of the Benefit Roller Lash before trying this one out and had heard about how these two mascaras were in stiff competition with eachother. So I knew as soon as my benefit mascara ran out that I had to try the famous 'Better Than Sex' mascara. I had first heard about this when I saw Zoella using it on one of her tutorials - after that was what felt like a domino effect, literally every blog post I read and make up tutorial I watched, every one was trying and raving about this mascara.
It is a really great mascara, it coats your lashes in a nice solild amount of product and does give your lashes that extra volume and pazaz but I'm afraid I have to say that I think I prefer the benefit roller lash over this one. I felt roller lash got to every single one of my lashes and gave them all a full coating of mascara which I felt this mascara failed to do. Do I dare say that after using a plastic applicator, I much prefer it to the normal brisseled brushes. Don't get me wrong - this is a really great mascara, you can see from the pictures below how much my eyelashes were transformed but I felt that I was slightly let down due to the massive hype around this product. Another very annoying factor about this mascara is that it rubs onto your under eye area and on to your eye lid throughout the day - which drives me crazy, it may because of my greasy face (highly likely that this could be the reason) but I never found this was a reoccurring problem with any other mascaras I have used.
This mascara is worth a try but coming from someone that has quite short lashes and needs quite a lot of mascara on them to give them more volume and length, you can get a better one for your money.
Melted Nude Liquid Lipstick
These liquid lipsticks from Too Faced are absolutely gorgeous. Everything about them makes them some of my favourite lip products ever. This one in particular is a favourite because it's nude and we all know how much I love a nude lip! It's good to change it up a little bit instead of sticking to the same old MAC shades. These lipsticks literally go on like a dream, by squeezing the tube you release the product through a soft cushioned applicator which is shaped perfectly for applying to your lips. It is a perfect light nude shade, making it perfect to work with if you're trying an ombré lip or to just simply wear by itself when you're feeling a neautral kinda day.
