Miracle 3 Minute Tan | St. Tropez

Fake tan, it has always been a mystery to me how some girls can apply it and it looks so good, no streaks, no water marks and no bruise-looking patches across their arms and legs - I am one of those girls that can never get it right. I find it such a chore applying fake tan and making sure I have it spread out evenly across my body, not to mention how much of a mess I make whilst I'm doing it.

Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion

This is where this product has saved my life, it has made the tanning process less tedious and much less time consuming and much easier for the likes of people like me and maybe you, who can never apply their tan just right. I first come across the product whilst in Superdrug and was very intrigued at the fact you only had to leave it on for 3 minutes for it do it's job, I of course was a bit apprehensive at first because most fake tans have to be left on overnight or for at least 2-3 hours but knowing St. Tropez is such a highly respected brand, I knew it was worth giving a go.

It so straight forward and simple and works by just applying it whilst you are wet in the shower, lathering it up and leaving it to soak in for just 3 minutes before you wash it off. (You can get a little cold in the shower - but it's worth it) This is a gradual tanner, so you don't see a massive change within the first few washes but after about the fifth or sixth use you see a real change in your skin, leaving it bronzed and beautiful. Another great thing about this product is because it is a gradual tanner you aren't left with any streaks or patches, it gives you a nice natural glow that builds up - the patches and the streaks are what I struggle with the most, so I am very happy with the outcome, over the past 2 weeks I have built up a nice natural looking tan.

I would say this is suitable even for really pale skin because of the building aspect it has to it - you see a change in your skin colour every day so you know when to quit.

At the moment in Boots, it has £5 off, so instead of it being £14.50 it is £9.50, I do really encourage you to give this tan a go, you will not be disappointed with the end result.

  1. I had heard of this in shower fake tan - usually I only have to look at the sun and my skin browns. This year I've been unwell A LOT and I'm feeling & looking very pale. I will give this a go. Even if I'm feeling rotten at least I can look like me!! Great post thank you Sammie

  3. I know St. Tropex is a very famous fake tan brand, read a lot about it on beauty blogs. I must admit that I don't fake tan because I'm naturally tan and putting me under the sun for half an hour and I'll brown nicely. LOL!

  5. I feel you. I'm not big on eh self tanning thing either and rarely do it, if ever. I hear many good things about St. Tropez, though. I've had several samples in the past but never got around to using them, unfortunately. :/

  7. I've heard so much about this fake tan, I've never really wanted to use fake tan before as I get scared it will go all streaky and patchy but this is one is definitely like to try. It sounds so easy to use and I like that it's a gradual one so you can build it up just to the shade you want.

  8. I love gradual tanners so this sounds perfect for me, as I just want a hint of a glow, nothing too dramatic. I actually have a sample from a magazine but keep forgetting to try it. Must do it this weekend. :) x

  9. Sounds like a great product! I don't tan I burn, so I've used things like this in the past but the gradual effect just ends up looking odd on me as it's hard to maintain it at a good level and not have it fade oddly. Maybe I'm just better off pale, haha! I'm happy with that :)
